Strange Fruit Foundation held a competition over the summer of 2025 to find local grassroots talent! After an intense competition Chris Hendrix proved herself and we are delighted to give her the opportunity to perform at this year's festival!
SunQueen Kelcey is a Greensboro-based singer-songwriter and performing artist known for her "soul-rock" style, which blends hip-hop, soul, rock, and contemporary R&B. Her work is deeply rooted in themes of body positivity and radical self-love. She describes her music as a "genre-bending collage" of soul-rock, jazz, and hip-hop.
